learn about Zanzibar's extraordinary history and culture.  
Zanzibar has been a center of trade going back to ancient
times. Sultans, slaves, seafarers, princesses, healers and
explorers have all left their mark on our island.  Our culture
is a blend of African, Arabic, Asian and European
influences and our people are some of the most welcoming
and friendly on the planet.

We are happy to arrange cultural exchanges  and
educational programs for individuals or groups who  want
to learn more about specific aspects of our history, culture
and ways of life.    Please contact us to discuss your
interests.  

We can also refer you to licensed guides for traditional
spice, city, forest,  beach and other recreational tours.
